Fibro sucks
The latest flare up has been uncomfortable and longer than I've had for a while. My mental capacity is currently at low tolerance I'm I'm just so tired and uncomfortable all the time.
But after two failures to raise my shell dweller multi fry, this group are currently a couple of weeks old and are looking like fish. Tiny fish, but fish.
Turns out that my hunch that they were starving does seem to be on the money. I've upped the water changes and am overfeeding the tank in terms of liquid fry food (the adults are literally eating a lot of it before it gets to the bottom even when they've already been fed). Seems to be doing the trick at any rate. I did hope that there was enough biofilm and with the cyanobacteria on the sand there would be sufficient for the little ones plus the dust from the ground up adults food but turns out, such very tiny fish actually eat quite a lot.
I was eyeing up pea puffers for my 94 litre but I've done that up and have put Sunkist orange neocaridina in there instead.
I'm not giving up on the pea puffer dream, just postponing for a while.
